Shrink Fitting

Mansfield Cryogenics Ltd offer a shrink fitting service using Liquid Nitrogen as a medium for freezing down components to -195C.

Our experienced operatives will attend your site and deliver this service. On most occassions you will not require any additional or specialist equipment.

Shrink Fitting is speedy, as shrinking the component can be done in minutes, this process will not damage the majority of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, whereas heating components can take time and can distort the materials and on some occassions damage the component – freezing the component will not do this.
